Concert at the Tracks
This evening Kate & I had a different kind of a date.
We attended an open air concert at the CP rail crossing.
It was the CP Holiday Train making its stop in town.

Concert at the Tracks
Every year since 1999, this Holiday Train has travelled through dozens of communities, raising food and cash donations for local food banks.
We made our contribution and then waited for the train to arrive.
You could feel the buzz of excitement as the train pulled in and stopped with a specially designed boxcar positioned right in the middle of the crossing.
It was not long before the sides of that boxcar were lowered and it became a stage!
After a short and energetic concert, it was time to close up and move the train back into the railyard to continue its journey tomorrow.
Thank you CP for a memorable night and for the good work you are doing for local food banks.
