Greetings,

Today,  my wife & I took a walk in the park.

Actually,  Kate (my wife) was the one who was registered for the walk — to help raise funds for the Epilepsy Support Centre.

I just came along in support.

It was the 1st annual ” Seize the Day 2.5 km Walk/5 km Run for Epilepsy.”

Our lives have been touched by epilepsy.  As Kate said,

This event is near and dear to my heart because my very close friend Kevin Cunningham suffered for many years with Epilepsy. He is gone now and I am walking in his memory.

It was a great day for a walk.

• The sun was shining bright and warm.
• The trees were starting to display their fall colours.
• We got to meet other families whose lives were also touched by Epilepsy.

We miss you Kevin.
